Welcome to Wang Lab at IU Indianapolis

The Wang Lab aims to quantitatively explore the relationship between cell organization structure and function in complex biological systems, and develop corresponding computational models in translational medicine, including kidney disease, liver disease, neurological disorders, cancer, organoid development, and optical psychological research.

There are three main areas of research:

  1. Deep learning and machine learning approaches in modeling single-cell and spatial transcriptomics: Developing noval deep learning algorithms for biological questions using single cell multiomics and spatial transcriptomics
  2. Data analysis and applications in biological discovery: Using machine learning and related computational approaches for data analysis in diverse biological discoveries
  3. Software and webserver development: Developing bioinformatic software and webserver for biological researchers
