Mauminah Raina

PhD student

Overview

Mauminah Raina is a Ph.D. candidate in the Bioinformatics program at Indiana University Indianapolis. Her research focuses on developing computational and machine learning methods for both single-cell and spatial omics, with particular interests in spatial transcriptomics, graph neural networks, and multi-omics integration. Her work applies these approaches to characterize spatial tissue organization and disease-associated molecular patterns, particularly in kidney disease. She received her B.S. in Computer Science with a concentration in Biocomputing from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
